Man pays 200 000yen fine for shoplifting coffee

A court in Fukuoka, south Japan, handed down a 200,000 yen fine to a man who shoplifted a 120 yen can of coffee. That’s $2,000USD+ for a drink worth little more than a buck!
The thirty-six year-old construction worker from Saga prefecture was arrested for slipping the drink into a bag when visiting a convenience store in Fukuoka. Spotted by staff he was apprehended as he tried to make good his escape.
The man had been in the city on business but foolishly spent much of his salary on pachinko. Thirsty yet cashless, he had no choice but to steal!

However, there is a twist. A few years ago the same man had been investigated for possibly shop-lifting vegetables worth at least a few hundred yen. Back then he got off but this time he was caught red-handed. His attempted flight from the scene of his crime was the real clincher, it seems, and led to the harsh conviction.
But still — two thousand dollars plus for a can of coffee? A newspaper noted that for that amount — which the man paid immediately — he would have been able to buy over 1,600 cans and drink them one a day, every day for five years. I guess it’s true what they say: Japan is expensive! (JapanTrends)

Park Yong-ha commits suicide

Park Yong-ha (32) a Korean actor who is popular in Japan because of his role in "Winter Sonata" as well as other variety shows, has been found dead in his home, as reported by several South Korean newspapers. His body was discovered by his mother at around 5:30 in the morning. He had hung himself with the cords of a telephone charger.

While this seems sudden, it has been revealed that Park had been depressed due to his father's battle with stomack cancer. Even his good friend, Kim Jae-joong from boyband TVXQ, said that he was shocked. The last phone call Park made was to Kim, and the two promised to meet up when Kim returned to Korea. Kim also said that Park had sounded cheerful on the phone.

Rest in peace, Park Yong-ha. (Entame)

Yamashita Rina (22), the sister of NEWS member Yamashita Tomohisa (25), is currently working for Minister Hatoyama Kunio. She used to be a gravure idol during her college days in the University of Arts, but has completely left the entertainment industry since then.

She was quite popular then, having won/ been nominated for a few awards. However, after graduating in March 2009, she joined politics as a secretary. She said that the reason for leaving the entertainment industry is because she wants to have a clear distinction between the two.

Yamashita Tomohisa feels that this is a plus for her, and mentioned that this will prevent gossip and rumors from popping up. Yamashita Rina is described as being career-oriented but friendly, and is said to have the same smile as Yamapi. (Entame)

Their relationship reportedly started last year, when they worked together on the song "aisu x time" from Otsuka's "LOVE is Best" album (released in November).

My perler bead project, formspring

Hi there, everyone! As you can see, I've put up a new poll! Please do indicate where you're from, because I have a feeling that I have more visitors from US, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia than Singapore! Teehee, it'd be fun to know where all the fangirls come from. Please answer TRUTHFULLY! Oh, I did my first perler bead last night, and it's much more challenging than I thought, but still enjoyable all the same. :) Eventually I want to sell my perler bead creations, but I'm nowhere near that stage right now! On the left, after ironing, and on the right, before ironing. Below them, a picture of me!
KAMENASHI KAZUYA HAS A GIRLFREND???
Haha, I don't think so! The way you ask seems more like a statement than a question, so I'm wondering if you're asking me if he does have a girlfriend or it's just some shocked fangirl reaction lilke, "OMG KAMENAHSI KAZUYA HAS A GIRLFRIEND?!?!"
Okay anyway, I haven't heard that he has a girlfriend. Actually I suspect that he does, really, just that he's not as "careless" as the other Johnnys. He just seems like that sort of person to me!

Catfights aplenty in AKB48?

It seems that the girls of popular idol group are nowhere as sweet and innocent as they look, as reported by popular gossip magazine Bubka.

Since the management company of AKB48 has a zero tolerance approach to its members dating, those whose relationships are exposed often face being dropped from the group, and this has already happened a few times.

Bubka reported that there is a struggle between groupmates to be the most popular, and catfights are common behind the scenes. There is also much bullying and betrayal between the girls, and some members turn in photos of other members with their boyfriends to gossip magazines. When these gossip magazines publish the pictures and there is much speculation about that member, that member will usually be forced to withdraw since AKB48 does not wish to tarnish its image. For example, Ishiguro Atsuki recently withdrew from AKB48 after sticker photos of her and her boyfriend were leaked all over the internet. It seems that the sticker photos were maliciously leaked by another AKB48 member who was jealous of her popularity. There are also many rumors of a relationship between another popular member, Maeda Atsuko, and actor Yamamoto Yusuke. (Entame)

Tanaka Koki of KAT-TUN used to be bullied in school

KAT-TUN member, Tanaka Koki confessed that he used to be bullied by classmates on their radio program “KAT-TUN style.” The two personalities from KAT-TUN on this day were Tanaka Koki and Taguchi Junnosuke.
On one of the corners of the radio show, "Majime ni Hanashima special" (Let’s have a serious conversation), KAT-TUN members provide advice to listeners. On this specific episode, an 8th grade girl wrote in asking them for advice.
She wrote, “I have been bullied at school since I was in 6th grade, so I’m scared to go to school. Please give me some advice and courage.”
Koki said right away, “I was bullied too when I was in elementary school. They hid my shoes, they put thumbtacks on my chair. Somebody even wrote “stupid” on somebody’s desk, and everyone pointed at me saying, ‘We think Tanaka did it.’”
Koki added, “There should be someone to help you, and if you keep facing it, you will see the light at the end. That’s what I did.”
Koki’s confession about his past astonished Junnosuke. (tokyohive)

Fans arrested over forged AKB48 tickets

Two fans of all-girl pop group AKB48 have been arrested for allegedly distributing forged tickets allowing fans to meet group members at an event, police said.
The Metropolitan Police Department's (MPD) juvenile crime division announced on June 22 that they arrested Kunihiko Oi, a 25-year-old unemployed Tokyo resident, and a 17-year-old high school boy in the Saitama Prefecture city of Kawaguchi on suspicion of distributing counterfeit tickets. Oi, an avid AKB fan, has reportedly admitted that he also fabricated the tickets, and the MPD is working to build a case against him on that charge.

Oi stands accused of handing the boy 15 bogus "handshake tickets," valid at AKB's CD release event at Tokyo Big Sight in Koto Ward, on a street in Shibuya Ward on Nov. 10, 2009. The boy is believed to have given the 15 fake tickets he received to a 19-year-old unemployed boy from Osaka later in the day.
"I was not satisfied with how fans were treated at AKB's concert in Paris. I wanted to harass the event staff," Oi was quoted as telling investigators.
According to the MPD, Oi and the high school boy are fellow fans. In March, a staff member at an event held in Tokyo reportedly found the boy possessing another fake ticket. (Manichi)

You know how bored I am when I start reporting about AKB48. (o^o)

Lin Chi-Ling to take acting classes after dismal performance in "Moon Lovers"

Taiwanese model-actress Lin Chiling expressed her disappointment over the dismal ratings of her Japanese drama serial "Moon Lovers" and revealed that she hopes to take some acting classes next year, reported Chinese media.
Speaking to reporters while attending the high-profile Royal Ascot horse races in the UK, Lin was evasive and said, "Could we not talk about the ratings (of "Moon Lovers")? Frankly, I am a little depressed at the moment."
"I want to take this chance to take in as much air as I can. This can be considered a short break!" Lin added.
"Moon Lovers", despite starring Japanese superstar Kimura Takuya and other well-known actresses like Kitagawa Keiko and Shinohara Ryoko, managing only 13.4% in ratings. Its average ratings also lost out to other J-dramas this season.
The drama's producer, Fuji RV, was reportedly so disappointed that it intends to cut short the show's run to eight episodes instead of the usual ten for a drama in the 9pm time slot, with its finale scheduled to air on July 5 in Japan.
Many netizens had blamed the drama's poor ratings on a bad script and Lin's acting. Despite this setback, Lin said she "will improve in the areas I am weak in and satisfy everyone".
The 35-year-old went on to reveal that she hopes to make time for acting classes at the beginning of next year. (CNA)

The viewership ratings for "Moon Lovers" has been decreasing steadily, as shown below:

Episode 01: 22.4%

Episode 02: 19.2%
Episode 03: 15.6%
Episode 04: 15.5%
Episode 05: 17.4%
Episode 06: 13.4%

Average: 17.3%, and the ratings look set to drop further.

Leading actor, Koide Keisuke said about the shooting, “We were all excited by the scene of high school girls in bathing suits. This is the first and last scene Oguri took the camera, and shot.”
Koide Keisuke, Katsuji Ryo, Ayano Go, and Suzuki Ryohei are the main characters of the movie, and many other great stars are in the movie as well, such as, Konishi Manami, Ueto Aya, Inoue Mao, and Tsumabuki Satoshi.
The release of the movie is July 17th. (tokyohive)

High viewership for Japan - Denmark World Cup match

From the viewership ratings, it seems that many Japanese are taking a keen interest in the World Cup and the fate of their team, Blue Samurai. The Japan - Denmark game was aired early this morning on NTV network, and ended with Japan winning Denmark 3-1, allowing Japan to advance to the next round. This is the first time Japan has done so on foreign soil.

Anyway, the average viewership rating for the match was 30.5% and 27.4% in the Kanto and Kansai districts respectively. Viewership peaked just before 0500, with a 41.3% viewership in Kanto and 35.9% in Kansai. (nikkansports)

Zzzz... I'm sorry if I haven't been posting much news recently, but all the Japanese entertainment sites seem to be full of articles about the World Cup, or W 杯 as they call it.

Arashi comes out tops... Again!

In DVDs, Michael Jackson's "THIS IS IT" topped the rankings with 789,000 in sales. Arashi was #2 with their "ARASHI Anniversary Tour 5x10" (688,000). (Tokyograph)

Japanese outfit post (and lots of my complaining)

Finally, I'm able to post pictures without my internet shutting down on me! Anyway, I'm here to complain about the way Singaporeans dress... Again! Or to moan about how well some Japanese dress, depending on how you look at it. Okay, I'm not really one to talk, since I've been spending the past few days in oversized shirts or tank tops and sleeping shorts. =.= I did think of starting an "outfit post" kind of thing a while back, but it was rather tricky since I only have my phone camera and had to take them myself.

One thing I really don't get about some Singaporeans - many others all over the world too - is why they choose to wear short shorts/ miniskirts when they aren't exactly... In shape. I mean, it's okay if you're just big-boned and all, but I've seen some people with really flabby thighs, cellulite and all, wearing really short shorts and miniskirts. And when I talk about short shorts I mean those hot shorts which have these really revealing sort of cutting. There was once, I saw this really broad woman strutting around town wearing this absymally short denim skirt, and I honestly have no idea if she realised this, but her butt was so big that you could actually her butt (I don't know why I saw her butt - was she wearing a g string?). People were staring at her and then quickly looking away.

Okay, so you don't exactly have the most flattering figure but you want to wear all these short shorts and skirts. Why not wear thights/leggings? I used to think it'd be very hot and sweaty and troublesome with the humidity in Singapore and all, but it's actually really okay. Plus, you feel much more comfortable because you don't have to bother so much about sitting down and getting up properly. No, scratch that, that was just my own weird perception!

This shoes and socks combo. I wish I lived in a cold country where I didn't have to wear hideous white shoes that cover up my entire foot. I love the shades of brown. I love the lace around the socks. I love the simplicity of the entire thing. I can imagine myself wandering around aimlessly in these before school, after school, or when I'm supposed to be in school.

And these nails, I'm not really that in love with them, but they're pretty cute.
And for those girls that don't realy like lacy, pink stuff, I thought this was pretty cool.
As for the rest of the pictures, I like them too, particularly the girl with a grey cap. It's one outfit that most Singaporean girls would be comfortable with. Oh, and one more thing, I've been wearing my boots a lot recently, and it's really fine (yeah except that I wore put the heel quite a bit). It's not uncomfortable or hot at all! And they look so much better than those silly Doc Marts. All photos from http://tokyofashion.com/.

It is reported that Nakashima Mika (27) is now in a relationship with Tanaka Yoshito (36), a musician.
Tanaka has participated in the recording as the guitarist with popular groups such as Arashi and Funky Monkey Babys, as well as working actively as a producer with famous artists as Chemistry and Nakashima of course. He collaborated with Nakashima on her tour in 2007 and 2009.
According to the report, after shopping outside, Nakashima and her mother met Tanaka at night and went back home together, as they are living in the same building. It is also said that Nakashima and Tanaka have been spotted having dinner together with Nakashima's mother, and now wearing the pair rings on the finger.
"It's her private affair so it's all up to her. We have no comment." commented by the management company of Nakashima.
Nakashima, who is known by her hit songs such as "Yuki no Hana" and "GLAMOROUS SKY" and wonderful performance in the movie "Nana", used to be in a relationship with the actor Nagase Masatoshi in 2004 and almost got married. But they broke up in 2008 as reported. Her new love is certainly gaining attention. (Music Japan+)

My new project?

I was planning to post some pictures but NOOO blogger/ internet explorer is being a great help and closing the tab everytime I try to upload a picture. It's been happening a lot recently, does anyone know what the problem is?

Okay, so back to school today. I've just decided that I'm not going to attend lessons for the end of the week because it was just so exhausting. I'd prefer it if everyone in school were like robots and didn't chat and go out with each other, really. Without all this "make friends" and "clique" sort of thing, it'd be easier for social misfits for me. And I must be one of the most misfitted(?) misfits around because I am actually in the most popular clique but I can't relate to people in that clique. And there's no way I can move to another "less cool" clique because the other students are wary about my "cool clique" status so they are actually not so intimate when speaking to me. Aaand, believe it or not, those from the "cool clique" that I'm in actually really do consider me to be part of their clique and show me concern often enough. Well, honestly, they are really kind-hearted and all, but, but, I just don't know why it doesn't work out for me.

Now, more cheerful stuff! I made onigiri and sushi just now! With carrot and seasoning, no not those MSG-laden sort, I meant those that are meant for adding to your Japanese dishes. And I attempted to make onigiri without the mould but it turned out to be more of a rice ball, really.

I've been in a I-want-to-do-something-art-and-craft-ish mood recently, so I've been thinking of taking up knitting after my 'O' level exams, but I have almost zero experience in sewing. I've been thinking of buying those Perler/Hama/Aqua beads and making loads of them. Okay I've decided after watching some videos on YouTube I am going to go to Ikea sometime soon to buy those beads and make loads. Hehehe I can even make necklaces, keychains, coasters and sell them here! Oh my, I'm so excited!!! Okay I doubt I can make much money from that and I have zero artistic talent but oooh it sounds so exciting! Okay the post title "My new project" seriously sounds weird but I don't know what else to call it. =.=

Ebihara Yuri and Ilmari back from their wedding in Paris

Popular CanCam model Ebihara Yuri (30) and her husband Ilmari (35), member of hip-hop band Rip Slyme, arrived at Narita Airport yesterday after their wedding in Paris, France on 16 June. The two announced that they were married in May 2010. Ilmari was mostly silent and did not do more than smile and nod at the reporters. Ebihara said that she "wants to work hard" as a model.

Ebihara said that Paris was very fun and that the day after the wedding, which coincided with Ilmari's 35th birthday, they had stayed with Ilmri's relatives. She also mentioned that they are not planning on having children at the moment. There is no two-shot of them together at the airport. (nikkansports)

Ayase denies relationship rumors at "Hotaru no Hikari 2" press conference

Today was the press conference for NTV's upcoming summer dorama "Hotaru no Hikari 2" starring Ayase Haruka (25), and many reporters were curious to get a response from Ayase about her alleged relationship with actor Osawa Takao (42). Unsurprisingly she clearly denied the rumors. "There is nothing like that going on (between us)," she said.

"Hotaru no Hikari 2" is the sequel to the popular drama series that aired in the summer of 2007. The story is based on a novel by Hiura Satoru and focuses on the life of Hotaru, a so-called "himono onna". Himono as in "dried fish", because she's a woman who refrains from love and rather lies around at home. The first season started with Hotaru ending up living together with the director at her workplace played by Fujiki Naohito (37). Eventually she experiences what it means to fall in love and this time she even starts to think about marriage.
Yasuda Ken (36), who will appear in the second season again, gave an advice to couples who are currently thinking about marriage. "I think it would be better to start living together before making that decision," he said. Ayase was impressed and responded, "I'll keep that in mind." About filming the sequel she said, "I'm happy that we are filming part two and will enjoy the filming."
Fujiki is happy too and joked about his age, "I'm happy that the drama is returning. It's been three years and the director is still the director, except that I've grown older… That's my personal problem, though."
Usuda Asami (25) also attended the press conference.
"Hotaru no Hikari 2" will be the new Wednesday 10pm drama of NTV and start with the first episode on July 07. The first episode will be 15 minutes longer. (Kawaii Joyuu)

You & Jin, formspring, Cartoon KAT-TUN

While searching for reviews of the You & Jin concert online, this is what I got! Click to enlarge.

MAN, JIN TOTALLY OWNS BIEBER! Okay, I know this is not a fair test etc, but I just thought it was pretty funny. Anyway, for those of you who are interested, I found a review of the concert here. I'm really glad it went well. :)

I've been addicted to Cartoon KAT-TUN for the past few days! It's really, really interesting and I'm starting to think that I would continue watching the show even if KAT-TUN weren't the hosts. But I find that Akanishi Jin and Ueda Tatsuya are too quiet during the show. :/ Oh, I've developed a strong liking for Ueda! He's pretty, smart, not scrawny but slender, and strong! And I kind of like him for his quietness, though I wish he'd speak up more! Too bad he doesn't appear in dramas often.

Do you think Arashi will ever break up? Nope, never! For a list of reasons why, see the previous question (it's almost the same as yours) and my answer.

Morning Musume member criticises Arashi's fashion sense

A member of Morning Musume, Michishige Sayumi appeared on the “Mannequin Five” corner of Arashi’s variety show on June 17th.
Mannequin Five is a part of “Himitsu No Arashi-chan,” in which the guests give comments on the fashion sense of Arashi members.
The theme for the recent episode was flower prints, and Sayumi gave bitter comments to the members, Matsumoto Jun in particular.

Some examples include “I don’t like your pose, especially when you put your hand in your pocket and try to look cool,” and “That is okay, but you look tired.”

When Matsumoto Jun came out, Sayumi’s comments got even harsher.
“You have a very gaudy face, and this flower cloth makes you look even more flamboyant. You don’t know yourself well. Moreover, it’s just too much.”
In the end, Sayumi picked Matsujun as “NO WAY” fashion.
After the bitter comments, Matsujun screamed “This is not about the face!” with a bitter smile.
When this show was over, Sayumi received over 5,000 comments on her blog, and some of the comments were a little harsh.
“Who do you think you are?“, “You know nothing about fashion“, “I felt bad for Matsujun“, and so on.
Although Sayumi is known for her bluntness, her comments made some Arashi fans quite upset. (tokyohive)

KAT-TUN album number one on Oricon charts

KAT-TUN’s new 5th album “NO MORE PAIN” sold 69,000 copies on the day of it’s release, and took first place on the Oricon daily ranking chart.

KAT-TUN has repeatedly taken first place ever since their 1st album “Best of KAT-TUN” (March, 2006) up to their 4th album “Break the Records -by you & for you-” (April, 2009) on the Oricon weekly rankings.

With this 5th album, they will be expected to break all previous records. (tokyohive)

Avex unwilling to sign contract with Sawajiri Erika?

On 22 May, Sawajiri Erika (24) finally appeared in public for a long time, after much controversy. Matsuura Masato, the president of Avex, a Japanese entertainment company, had said that he would love to help her out after her divorce. Then, it was reported that he was fascinated by her talent and had already contacted her a while ago to work out a deal.

However, it now seems that Avex is now finding the situation more difficult that they had imagined, and do not want to sign a contract with Erika, who is infamous for her revealing outfits, bad attitude, as well as scandals involving substance abuse. So, Sawajiri Erika virtually has no source of income, since all her endorsments by companies have been cancelled.

Erika's mother was quoted as saying that "Erika has been decieved." In the middle of her divorce and without a job, Erika is trapped in a very difficult situation. (Entame)

I've never liked Sawajiri Erika, but I feel that all her negative points are actually causing people to be more interested in her, so any albums/ dramas she produces will profit?

Matsuoka Masahiro broke up with his girlfriend

Matsuoka Masahiro (33) of Jonny's Entertainment band TOKIO has broken up with his girlfriend of 6plus years. The exact identity of the woman is unknown, but she has been described as short and resembling Nakagawa Shoko, who is 155cm tall. Matsuoka and his girlfriend have been staying together for quite a while now, with Matsuoka first acknowledging the fact that they live together in March 2008. Tabloids have also caught photos of them together at his apartment. There had also been much speculation that the two would get married soon.

It seems that the reason for this breakup is because Matsuoka and his girlfriend could not see eye to eye on Matsuoka's work commitments and the troubles that come with being a member of a popular boyband (think snap-happy journalists and rabid fans). Matsuoka said that although he had planned on getting married before he turned thirty, he could not really see a future with his girlfriend and hence they decided to break up. He also said that he thinks that marriage is not difficult, but he would be better off going out with someone in the music industry as well.

No comment from Johnny's (as usual), but he's already 33, and his bandmate Yamaguchi Tatsuya has a son! (Entame)

Sightings of Kitagawa Keiko and Yamapi together posted on twitter, blogs

Just like everyone else, I'm pretty confused over whether they're really in a relationship or not. (the rumors do change really fast, don't they?!) Especially since with the Japanese gossip mentality that,"Oh! X and Y were eating a meal together! They must be together!"

Anyway, back to the point! Based on tweets and blogs of various Japanese netizens, it seems like Yamashita Tomahisa and Kitagawa Keiko were out together on the 13th of June, since most of the timings and locations given seem to tally.

But then, I'm thinking that this is probably a well-planned ruse, since I haven't come across any pictures! (Entame)

Tuesday, June 15, 2010

Somewhere between last night and the wee hours of this morning, while listenign to Arashi's "We Can Make It" and listlessly surfing the net and contemplating the various charachters in Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, I decided that I'm not going to spend the remaining week or so of my holidays just spending up to 10 hours in front of my computer, watching jdoramas. This is how my schedule for the past few days have worked:

1000 Wake up, breakfast
1045 Turn on computer
1230 Lunch. Leave computer on standby mode
1315 Back to computer
1530 Tea break. Leave computer running.
1545 Back to computer
1845 Dinner. Computer on standby
1945 Computer again
0000 Think about going to bed. Cotinue using computer.
0130 Sleep.

OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. The time I spend staring at this stupid screen is longer than the amount of time I spend sleeping!

Really long answer to formspring qn!

how is Arashi's succes to you? are they gonna stay long with their succesful progress now? (no I'm not biased XD)

Hmmm, I think Arashi's gonna stay successful for a longLONG time! Or at least, I hope so! Hahaha I'm not a fortune teller so there's no way of telling! But I think Arashi has a good chance of staying successful because:
1. Their members don't have other commitments like sports or other bands, so Arashi's pretty much the most obvious route for them to take and they won't leave Arashi
2. They have an enormous fan base both in and out of Japan. Each of the members have their own fans, and it's not like KAT-TUN where fans mostly like 2 of their members, it's all 5!
3. There have never been reports of Arashi members not getting along (correct me if I'm wrong), and the size of the band (5ppl) is just right to me, so there won't be any conflicts or anything.
4. None of them are really good looking, except for Jun! (hahaha I'm being biased here) They're more adorkable than anything, so it's not like fans won't like them when they grow older (and uglier)
5. They've been around for 10 years already, 10 more shouldn't be a problem!
LONG LIVE ARASHI! (AND JUN!)

Oguri Shun and Horikita Maki for drama special "Kikoku"

Talento Kitano Takeshi (63) and screenwriter Kuramoto Sou (75) are teaming up for a TBS drama special that will air this August. Titled "Kikoku," the drama will star Kitano and feature a cast of big names, including Oguri Shun (27) and Horikita Maki (21).
"Kikoku" is based on the 1955 short story "Saipan Kara Kita Ressha," written by the late author Hiroshi Muneta. Kuramoto originally adapted it last year for a theatrical version, but he is writing a new script for the drama.
The fantasy story starts when a unscheduled train arrives at Tokyo Station, carrying the ghosts of a group of soldiers who died honorably during World War II and dropping them off in present-day Tokyo. Kitano plays one of the soldiers, a private first class, who visits his younger sister, but he becomes violent upon witnessing her current misery.

Oguri plays a former musician who was sent to war, leaving behind his girlfriend Yoko (played by Horikita). When he returns to see her, 60 years have already passed. Kaoru Yachigusa will play the older Yoko.
TBS plans to air the drama on August 14, the day before the anniversary of Japan's surrender. (Tokyograph)

Ueto Aya and Morita Go to go on holiday together

According to an entertainment reporter on a TV show that was broadcast on 10th June, actress Ueto Aya (25) and Morita Go (31) from V6 are looking to go on a trip abroad this summer. It has been rumored that they will be going to a resort. (reminds you of Oguri Shun and Yamada, right?)

The two, who met in 2001 during the filming of drama "Yome wa Mitsuboshi", have always been speculated about. In 2006, wedding rumors surfaced but then died down again. Earlier this year, Ueto finally confirmed that she was in a relationship with Morita.

Many say that this trip means that they will get married soon. Most tabloids seem to think that they will hold a wedding next year. After all, they have been dating each other for quite a long time now, and since Morita is already 31 and Ueto is approaching her late twenties, they might want to enjoy life together and have children. SMAP fans gather at cancelled concert venue

Today, about a dozen SMAP fans gathered at the Shanghai Expo, where SMAP was scheduled to perform today. As you might know, the concert was cancelled due to worries about crowd control after a few were injured following a rush during a Korean concert. The Expo Secretariat said that it had "no choice" but to cancel the concert.
Anyway, the fans, who were a mix of Chinese and Japanese, had met throught the Internet, with some coming from as far as Hubei and Sichuan. The fans were familiar with Japanese culture and some even spoke fluent Japanese. Shortly after 1:00pm, when SMAP had been scheduled to perform, the fans sang Yozora no Mukou, a hit song by SMAP. The fans also chatted with each other and took photos. (nikkansports)

Sigh... I feel so sorry for these fans!

Chinese remake for popular dramas

The hit 1991 drama series "101st Marriage Proposal" is getting a remake as a movie in China. The film will be a joint production with Fuji TV, though the cast and staff will be Chinese.
"101st Marriage Proposal" was a love story starring Takeda Tetsuya (61) and Asano Atsuko (49). Takeda played a man who goes through 99 unsuccessful omiai (arranged meetings intended to lead to marriage), while Asano played the beautiful cellist whom he meets on his 100th omiai. The series peaked with ratings of 36.7% for its final episode.
For the movie remake, Eva Jin ("Sophie's Revenge") will direct. The cast has not yet been announced, but a tentative release date has been set for February 14, 2011, in China.
In addition to the "101st Marriage Proposal" remake, Fuji TV announced that the 1993 series "Hitotsu Yane no Shita" (starring Yosuke Eguchi) is being remade as a Chinese drama series for summer 2011.

Kaibatsu-kun special to be aired end June

The NTV drama series "Kaibutsu-kun" (starring Ohno Satoshi of Arashi) ended its run on Saturday, but the network has already announced that the show will return for a special program later this month.
The 90-minute special is titled "Mou Kaette Kita Yo! Kaibutsu-kun Subete Shinsaku SP." Unlike many special episodes for other drama series, NTV promises that the entire program is a new work rather than simply compiling highlights from the original series. The show also advertises the appearance of long-awaited guests and at least one surprise guest.
"Mou Kaette Kita Yo! Kaibutsu-kun Subete Shinsaku SP" will air on June 26 at 9:00pm. (Tokyograph)

New record for Arashi: over 100 000 copies of Saigo no Yakusoku DVD sold!

Came across this article on this blog while surfing around, amazing!

126,000 copies of Fuji TV's "Saigo no Yakusoku", a New Year drama special starring all 5 members of popular group Arashi were sold within its first week of release, achieving first place in the comprehensive DVD sales for the week of 14 June. Not only it is the first time a drama-related product has broken through the 100,000 copies mark in its first week, it is also the highest first week sales ever recorded in the history of drama DVDs.
This product has sold almost three times as much as the previous first week sales record for drama DVDs of 41,000 copies, held by "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (First Season) Vol. 1" (released in January 2009). The current accumulative sales record of 75,000 copies for domestic drama DVDs by "ROOKIES Omote BOX" (released in July of 2008) was also surpassed in just one week.

With the addition of this record to their concert DVD, "ARASHI Anniversary Tour 5x10" (released in April), also recording the highest first week sales in the history of music DVD releases with 470,000 copies sold (accumulative sales at 682,000 copies), Arashi has become double first week sales champions in both the "music DVD category" and "drama DVD category". These results have once again shown us their tremendous popularity.

Arashi's awesomeness at setting new records never fails to amaze me!

Akanishi Jin about his US concert (video)

Interview with Akanishi Jin in the US, where he speaks in English! He's actually pretty good!

Hmm, I didn't think he'd be able to do it, but it really does seem like he'll be able to break into the US market! I'm really hoping that he does, so that next time when we see him in Hollywood movies I can tell others that I knew about him a long time ago, or I can tell my parents, "Hey dad! It's that guy from Gokusen!" HAHAHA good luck, Bakanishi! Banzai!

Aoi Yuu unhappy with her role in "Flowers" movie

The movie "Flowers" starring Aoi Yuu (24), Suzuki Kyoka (42), Takeuchi Yuko (30), Tanaka Rena (30), Nakama Yukie (30) and Hirosue Ryoko (29) from the "Tsubaki" commercials will finally open this weekend, but unfortunately there isn't only sunshine for the flowers behind the scene.

Back in early May, the beauties and the production team met in Tokyo to announce the completion of the movie at a PR event, but one of them was missing: Aoi Yuu. The official statement said that she couldn't attend it due to her poor health, but the tabloid "Tokyo Sports" has now got wind that this might have not been the real reason behind her absence.

"It's said that Aoi is dissatisfied with the movie," a movie company insider told the tabloid. "Aoi always reads a script and then decides whether she will accept the role or not herself. However, this time it's a tie-in with a commercial, so her agency accepted the role without even asking her."

She ended up playing that role, but she might have still had a grudge against that decision and thus she decided to boycott the PR event. It seems like the producers weren't all that happy about her abandoning her spot either. "Producer Mr. O went into a rage when he learned about her absence and said stuff like 'I can't believe this!'." The same insider continued.

And if that wasn't already enough, Nakama eventually had to cancel the 2nd event in the afternoon as well. "She couldn't be there in the afternoon due to her schedule, so the event had to be done with even less members of the main cast." Things even got worse for the staff when Hirosue complained about exhaustion just prior to the afternoon event.

The seems to be a certain lack of motivation among the cast of Flowers, but hopefully that didn't influence the overall quality and enjoyment factor of the final movie. Just a tie-in project the actresses had to do due to their commercial contracts or actually a really good movie? Find out when it opens in Japan this Saturday June 12, 2010. (Kawaii Joyuu)

Okada Masaki and Kitagawa Keiko at press conference for "Matataki"

On May 9th, a press conference was held for the movie "Matataki", which is starring Kitakawa Keiko and Okada Masaki. Both of them taking part in the press conference. While Kitagawa described the appeal of the movie by saying "I'm devoting myself to the true love I learned about through the movie 'Matataki'", Okada pledged to overcome his fear of bugs by stating, "I will not be afraid of bugs anymore."
The movie is about the sad love story of two lovers involved in a tragic accident. On the topic of giving yourself up to save the one you love, Okada said "Unless you have been in that position, you probably can't really know, however, I would want to protect the person I love." At the same instant: "I really hate bugs..." Very no link-ish, no?!
When asked how he would react if there was a caterpillar on the shoulder of his girlfriend, he replied "I'd try not to be scared and just tell her."
On the other hand, Kitagawa said: "I'd get rid of the caterpillar without my lover noticing it." And to show how she'd do it, she touched Okada's shoulder, which had him cry out "You scared me!", which made it apparent, how Okada's pledge came to be from his real fear of bugs. What about removing it for her, Masaki-kun?! (Music Japan+)

At first when I saw this article I was thinking... Okada Junichi? Then I realised that Okada Masaki was the actor who acted as Sekime in Hana Kimi! Hahaha I really liked him in Hana Kimi though he appeared for like 3minutes in the entire series... Hana Kimi's just bursting with hot/cute/pretty guys!

Okada Junichi's girlfriend has a key to his house

Okada Junichi (29) of V6, who broke up with his co-star from "Tiger & Dragon" Aoi Yu (24) this year, seems to have gotten himself a new girlfriend who is 23 years old.

At around midnight somewhere in mid-May, Okada Junichi met up with a woman in a car outside his luxury condo. The woman was said to be wearing black and white and very beautiful, resembling Uchiyama Rina. Okada entered the car, and the two drove to some stores. Only Okada got out of the car when they stopped by the stores, with the woman staying in the car. Josei Seven, the magazine behind, this report, said that it was impossible for them to get a two-shot because of this. (haha I bet they're pretty upset!) Later, Okada entered the car again and the car drove off to Okada's luxury condo.

The next day, about 10hours later, Okada left his apartment alone. And a few hours later, the 23 year old woman appeared with a newsboy cap slung low to hide her face, which had make-up. She was walking 2poodles that belong to Okada.

A few days later, the two met up again, but this time the car was parked further away from Okada's apartment. The woman is said to be from Fukuoka and has a key to his house. She takes care of the dogs when Okada is away.

Apparently, Okada had rcently remodelled his apartment, with the construction costs coming up to 50 million yen. For those who are interested, Josei Seven has pictures of Okada entering the car, the woman walking the poodles, Okada going out alone, but no two-shot! (Entame)

Good luck to Okada-kun! Hahaha for some reason I think I like this woman.

SMAP secretly filmed for a drama special

The five members of SMAP will appear together in a television drama for the first time in approximately six years. The drama is a special titled "Doku Tomato Satsujin Jiken," said to be the industry's first "candid-camera drama" - much of it was filmed during taping for a variety show without SMAP's knowledge.

The variety show involved was the now-annual TV Asahi special "SMAP Ganbarimasu!" On the show, the five members took on various challenges: Masahiro Nakai (37) played a survival "onigokko" game on a remote island for 12 hours, Takuya Kimura (37) ate only tomatoes for three days, Goro Inagaki (36) sang at karaoke until he achieved a score of 100, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi (35) climbed all of the hills in the Meguro ward within 24 hours, and Shingo Katori (33) lived a Jomon period lifestyle for an entire day.

During the taping for the show, which aired on January 10, scenes for the drama were secretly filmed. Actor Sei Hiraizumi (66), playing a police detective, visited each of the SMAP members' locations without them noticing.  (Tokyograph)

"Doku Tomato Satsujin Jiken" revolves around a fictional variety show called "SMAP Sekai no Yasai wo Kurau." The show's host, announcer Yoko Oshita (40), dies in her own home after eating a poisoned tomato, which came from the set of the show. The detective played by Hiraizumi takes on the case, searching for the SMAP member responsible for the crime. While the drama is a mystery, it naturally incorporates elements of comedy as well.

TV Asahi plans to broadcast the drama on July 1 at 7:57pm

Was announcement of second series of JIN pushed forward because of Ayase Haruka and Osawa Takao's relationship being exposed?!

Last week, FRIDAY magazine caught Ayase Haruka (25) and Osawa Takao (42) together at Osawa's apartment. There has been much speculation about their relationship for a while now. The two were co-stars in the much-loved series JIN, but both their agencies strongly deny any intimate relationship between the two. And just recently, TBS announced that there would be a sequel for JIN, to be released in April 2011.

Now, however, more rumors are surfacing, and it seems that TBS had intentionally leaked out information on the release of the JIN sequel in order to give the impression that Ayase and Osawa share a "friendly co-stars" relationship, rather than anything closer. It is rather surprising that TBS made the announcement so early, since the sequel is almost a year away. Also, it seems that TBS did not expect JIN to be such a hit, and did not make any plans for a sequel until recently. So, why hastily announce a sequel so soon when they have just got everything confirmed? To let viewers think that Ayase and Osawa are meeting up, perhaps to discuss on the project rather than anything more scandalous, that's the most obvious reason.

Moving on, it seems that FRIDAY really went to great lengths to get a photo of Ayase Haruka and Osawa Takao together! A FRIDAY reporter says that to get the photo, they had to do "two to three monthes of continued surveillance" and at one time, had "more than 16 surveillance vehicles" around the apartment. (scary!) Honestly, I thought the entire idea of rushing the announcement was quite weird, but it's mentioned in the article that this has happened before, so... (Entame)

Haha, FRIDAY seems to be so great at exposing all these relationships! Mmmm... Makes me feel like buying a copy from Kinokuniya tomorrow! But it's really freaky though, imagine your apartment being surrounded by cars with reporters trying to get a photo of you and your date together... -.-//

Akanishi Jin "protects" senior Masahiko, admits that he's a playboy

We all know that Akanishi Jin (25) is quite the playboy, but it seems that he himself agrees with that statement too!

On 7 March this year, he attended a "Tati Nobu Motorsport Supporters Club" in Tokyo. The club was founded by his senior from Johnny's Entertainment, Kondo Masahiko (45). Apparently after the official press conference, a few reporters stayed behind to get to talk to Jin and Masahiko more, and they asked Masahiko about whether he is a playboy. (or smth along those lines, I'm not very clear about this part) Anyway, Jin, who often appears in the paparazzi for his supposedly "bad behaviour" like partying in clubs, stepped up to "defend" Masahiko, telling the reporters that, "It's okay, I'm worse." (Entame)

Oh well, what can I say... It's good of Jin to defend his senior, and at least he knows his bad points! (Hahaha I think I like Jin more now. =.=)

Johnny's heaven - Yamoto Nadeshiko Shichi Henge

Aaah... I've just finished episode 8 of Yamoto Nadeshiko Shichi Henge! (seriously though, can they come up with a shorter name?) It's not really the sort of show that will make you cry, but it's really interesting! I mean, how often do you get a show that revolves around a boy who's disowned by his parents because of his good looks and a "horror girl" that wears a black cape everywhere and is terrified of bright creatures?!

Actually I noticed this jdorama a longlongLONG time ago on dramacrazy.net, but didn't have much inerest in it because the synopsis at dramacrazy was rather confusing and I didn't realise that Kame was acting in it. Until yesterday when I was so desperate to find a new jdorama to watch and went to search for jdoramas that Mizushima Hiro and Kamenashi Kazuya acted in. Side note: they really need to produce more dramas with Hiro in the main role!

So I watched Yamoto Nadeshiko Shichi Henge expecting to get all excited over Kame, but no! THE SHOW IS LIKE JOHNNY'S HEAVEN!!! In the sense that they bring together 3 Johnny's boys that would almost never star together since they're from different bands and all. Tegoshi Yuya reminds me of a cute, fluffy puppy or cinimoroll! (see the picture below in case you're wondering wth a cinimoroll is) And Uchi Hiroko is hot in a calm and in control kind of way, and the little landlord boy just makes me melt! I love how each episode begins with him and how he says, "If there are any comments or concerns, please feel free to let the landlord know." That boy's acting is really impressive! Honestly, why didn't I discover this show earlier?!
The "horror girl" Nakahara Sunako (Oomasa Aya), is also surprisingly likeable, not in the "Hana Yori Dango" or "Hana Kimi" sort of way where you like her because her thoughts are like 99.9999% of the female population, but because she's so bizarre and cute in her own way. As for the fourth guy, I've never seen him before, but I did a check and apparently he's a ballet dancer? He's not as good looking/cute as the others, though...

Okay that's enough of me prattling on and on and on, or everyone will be put off reading such a large chunk of words!

Toilet paper to promote elections?

Even toilet paper is getting political. Yahoo Japan is reporting on the tactics of Odawara City to get people interested in the forthcoming summer elections.
Preparing a fairly modest 200 rolls, the city’s election organizers has been distributing the toilet paper to Odawara restaurants, along with posters and special drinks coasters.

On the white paper is printed in blue guidance on the early polling, as well as information on laws about donations. There’s no word yet on whether candidates themselves will resort to canvassing in this fashion!
In Japan it is common to give out free tissues on the street when you want to promote your business. However, apparently the election committee didn’t have much success with this tactic and so came up with other ways to raise awareness of the approaching polls.
Even though it’s just toilet paper and a few drinks coasters, the campaign doesn’t come cheap, costing some 100,000yen! (Japan Trends)

Conflict between Masahiro Nakai and the other members of SMAP?

There has been talk of a widening rift between the members of popular band SMAP. The disagreement seems to be majorly between leader Nakai Masahiro (37) and the rest of the band. Apparently, the bandmates had never really been the "best of friends", but the situation is now worsening. It seems that well-known Kimura Takuya (37), has the most issues with Masahiro, and the rest of the band sides with KimuTaku.

Masahiro's words are now frequently ignored by his bandmates. A Fuji TV staff has said that while Masahiro generally accepts that KimuTaku will not listen to him, the other three members of SMAP have started ignoring Masahiro too, and he thought Nakai would "give up completely on the other three bandmates".

On SMAPxSMAP, SMAP's variety show, ot has been observed that while Nakai Masahiro is very talkative when it comes to the guests, he talks much less when it comes to his fellow bandmates.

It seems that Nakai is letting this isolation get to him and is losing his determination to work hard as a result. A staff at Fuji TV was quoted as saying that he feels sorry for Nakai. (Entame)

formspring!

What is your opinion of Akanishi flying to Japan every Thursday to party, then flying back to USA on Saturday? week 1: came back for a birthday party. week 2: came back for his brother's play. Thing he is regretting going to LA?
Honestly, I think it's pretty troublesome and all, having to take 2 10-hour flights a week! But maybe he likes it? I guess if he's the sort that can sleep on planes then it shouldn't be such a hassle, plus it's likely that he gets to take first class unlike most of us, so it won't be so uncomfortable. I think it kind of suits him, since my opinion of him is one that doesn't form very deep "attachments" and all.

Haha, almost all the formspring questions I get seem to be on Jin! Are there really that many Akanishi fans out there?!?!

JIN sequel in 2011!

TBS surprised everyone with the dorama "JIN" last fall and its amazing ratings. Many people speculated that we would get a sequel and today it was made official, JIN will return next year in April!

Osawa Takao (42) about the sequel, "I hold the firm belief that this is going to be a lot of fun. The decision to make a sequel was the best decision in my entire career as an actor!" Actress Ayase Haruka (25) will return in the sequel as well. Recently a tabloid spread the rumor that the two of them might be in a relationship, but both of their agencies immediately denied this rumor. Of course they didn't kill the rumor and now that they are going to work together again, there sure will be more reporters trying to reveal what's going on behind the scenes (or not).

Ayase about the sequel, "I could totally feel the huge support for the dorama. So many people asked me whether there will be a sequel. I'm so happy that I will finally be able to reply to all of them!" About her role as Saki she said, "She's a kind and a strong woman, a character that I admire a lot. I will continue to play her role to the best of my abilities!"

Of course most of the cast from the first season are also going to be on board for the sequel, including Nakatani Miki (34) and Uchino Masaaki (41). Nakatani, "I'd like to put a lot of effort into the roles of Nokaze and Miki again!" Uchino's play as Ryoma was one of the many highlights in the dorama. "I can't wait to face the world of JIN and Ryoma again!" He said.

It will be difficult to mess up this dorama. JIN was amazing and everyone is very motivated to film a sequel. The biggest problem will be to survive the wait until April next year. (Kawaii Joyuu)

Sakurai Sho to act with Miyazaki Aoi in movie "Kamisama no Karute"

Arashi's Sakurai Sho (28) is set to star in a new movie by director Yoshihiro Fukagawa, titled "Kamisama no Karute." He will for the first time be joined by actress Miyazaki Aoi (24), who plays the heroine of the story.

Miyazaki plays Sakurai's beloved wife Haruna, who works as a photographer.
The staff for the film includes the production team from the movie "Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu" and screenwriter Noriko Goto, whose credits include the dramas "Blackjack ni Yoroshiku" and "Team Batista no Eikou."

Shirota Yuu to act in musical "Elisabeth"

Shirota Yuu (24) is slated to act in "Elisabeth", a popular musical that has been staged 796 times since it's debut in Japan in 2000. He will act as Death, a dashing young man with whom the musical's heroine, Empress Elisabeth, shares a love-hate relationship with all her life. He is the youngest actor to be picked for this role so far.

In 2003, when Yuu was still in Horikoshi High School, he auditioned for the same role but was not chosen. However, the producers of the musical took notice of him because of his tall stature (188cm) and chiseled features. Now, seven years later, he has finally gotten the role.

The musical will play from 30 October to 9 August at the Imperial Theatre in Tokyo. (Sanspo)

More info on the musical here, in case you get confused by my description of the musical. =.=\\

SMAP concert at Shanghai Expo cancelled

SMAP's first overseas concert since its establishment in 1988, to be held at the Shanghai World Expo on June 13, has now been cancelled. The reason for the cancellation, as given by the Expo Secretariat, was "to provide a better environment for general admission and ensure security at the Expo".

On May 30, a concert featuring popular Korean artists was held at the Expo Cultural Center. Thousands of fans who were unable to get in began acting violently, resulting in police involvement and many injured. This has caused the Expo organisers to rethink SMAP's concert.
SMAP's response mentioned that they "know our fans are very disappointed with the cancellation" and revealed that they had badly wanted to perform at the Expo. "Always, I'd like to have the opportunity to see our fans one day, so to everyone in China, kindly wait for me." (Sanspo)

Matsumoto Jun and Arashi - the next Kimura Takuya and SMAP?

Matsumoto Jun (26) may be stepping out of the shadow of Kimura Takuya (37). Both are members of Johnny' Entertainment idol groups, of which KimuTaku's SMAP are the still hugely popular veterans, while MatsuJun and Arashi are being carefully groomed as the next dominant force. One indication of this is the announcement that Matsumoto has landed the lead role in a Monday night drama series on Fuji TV, making him the first Arashi member to do so.

The Monday 9pm time slot is considered the most prestigious of all, and it was in that time slot that Kimura achieved audience ratings among the highest of modern times with shows like "Beautiful Life" (TBS, 2000) and "Hero" (Fuji, 2001). This spring, Fuji put Kimura in the spotlight with "Tsuki no Koibito" but as with his other recent dramas, ratings have been good rather than spectacular. So, attention will shift to how Matsumoto does in the romantic "Natsu no Koi ha Nijiiro ni Kagayaku." His love interest will be provided by always solid Takeuchi Yuko (30). This drama is a significant step in the path to becoming the next KimuTaku.
Matsumoto said, "I've been watching Monday night dramas on Fuji TV since I was a kid. So it's a great honor but also a lot of pressure. I will do my best to live up to it." The story is an original from Ohmori Mika (38), who wrote last year's basketball drama "Buzzer Beat." Matsumoto will play a struggling actor trying to get out of the shadow of his famous actor father. (Asianbite)

I wonder if Matsujun will age as well as Kimutaku though...

Goto Maki returns to showbiz after mother's death

Since her mother's death in January this year, Goto Maki has been taking a break from any entertainment and singing related activities. However, she has now taken up work again with a mini live performance. 200 cheering fans greeted her, when she presented her song "Houseki" from her mini album "ONE" passionately.

"Because you have always come to see me. I would like to start over and quickly improve myself, as I want to continue singing", Goto pledged to her mother in heaven, tears spilling from her eyes.
Bowing her head repeatedly, she said "I received warm support from you since my mother's death in January, and that is the thing that has me standing in this place". Then, she announced the release of her new album to her eagerly waiting fans. "I think that mother is also telling me to 'give your best'. After all, she really liked live performances.", Gomaki added with a wholehearted laugh.
The new album is dedicated to her mother and also contains the ballad "hanauta". "At first I was really worried, but I decided to do it eventually", the singer added, looking confident. "Now is the time to look ahead, so please look out for me in the future", she asked her fans. (Music Japan+)

Nino in car accident - woman injured. Arashi announces album and tour.

Arashi member Ninomiya Kazunari (26) caused an accident while driving on Friday afternoon when he hit a 36-year-old woman on a bicycle The woman suffered minor injuries.
At about half past noon on Friday, Nino was driving in Tokyo's Meguro ward. As he approached an intersection with no traffic lights, a woman riding a bicycle came from the side, and Ninomiya's car bumped the side of her bicycle. Although Ninomiya himself was unharmed, the woman suffered an injury in her left leg that will take about a week to fully heal.

Johnny's Entertainment stated that Ninomiya had the day off, though he was driving on his way to a work-related meeting.

Police are currently investigating the matter. Meanwhile, Johnny's has reminded its other artists to drive carefully. Because of this accident and Matsumoto Jun's accident in February, the agency has decided to prohibit all five Arashi members from driving until the end of this year. (seriously?!) This is the first time that the company has enforced a driving ban for all members of a specific group.

The same day, Arashi revealed that they will release a new album and launch a tour later this year. The album will be the first in over two years. Titled "Boku no Miteiru Fuukei," the album is scheduled for an August 4 release. It will at least include their four latest singles, ten new songs, and five solo songs.

In addition to the album, Arashi will go on tour from August 21 until January of next year. Like their tour last year, they plan to perform at the National Stadium and the five major Domes. During that tour, they became the first artist to play three consecutive days at the National Stadium. This time, their shows at the stadium won't be consecutive, but they will be the first to hold 4 concerts there in the same tour.

Tour schedule

21- 22 August: Kokuritsu
3 - 4 September: Kokuritsu
29,30,31 October: Osaka Dome
13 - 14 November: Sapporo Dome
19,20,21 November: Tokyo Dome
4 - 5 December: Nagoya Dome
15 - 16 January (2011): Fukuoka
(Tokyograph)

I think Nino ever mentioned that he got his driving licence without telling his family because his family is prone to car accidents and they said he shouldn't get it? I hope there isn't a big fuss about this. :/

Ayase Haruka still visiting Osawa's aparment regularly

Remember my previous post on Ayase Haruka and Takao Osawa's relationship here? Ayase Haruka still seems to be visiting Osawa's apartment!

The latest celebrity romance rumor is between actor Osawa Takao (42) and actress Ayase Haruka (25). Apparently Ayase got photographed how she tried to sneak into Osawa's apartment some day in mid-May. The combi-van she gets to ride from her agency stopped at the rear entrance of his apartment and Ayase quickly went inside the building. No more details are known yet since it's still early morning in Japan

The magazine reports that Ayase visited Osawa's apartment multiple times last month, even when Osawa was not there. Sources say that she was driven there by staff from her agency, who apparently kept watch to prevent Ayase from being seen. FRIDAY speculates that the two are partially living together.

Osawa and Ayase first worked together in the 2008 movie "ICHI." They then appeared in the popular drama series "JIN" last year.

Ayase's agency says that Osawa is an actor she respects greatly and that there is nothing more to their relationship. Osawa's agency stated that the two get along well as co-actors, but denied that they are dating. (Tokyograph, Kawaii Joyuu)

Nishkido Ryo went on a date with Fujii Lena

Nishikido Ryo (25) of NEWS and Kanjani8, is rumored to be dating fashion model Fujii Lena (25). This week's issue of Josei Seven includes photos of the two on a date in late May.

Nishikido and Fujii were seen eating at a restaurant together late at night. After leaving, they kept close to each other as they walked to a nearby parking lot, then drove off in Nishikido's car.

The pair worked together in 2005 for a special Christmas feature of a fashion magazine. At that time, Fujii had to choose a partner for a fake date, and she selected Nishikido.
Fujii broke up with DA PUMP's ISSA (31) this past March. They had been dating since June of last year.

Nishikido's management denies that the two are dating. Fujii's agency also claims that they are just good friends. (Tokyograph)
