I was bored so I decided to attempt translating Japanese celebs' blogs, and I'm starting with Shirota Yuu. Here goes.

Actually, it's been decided that I will have a new manager. My manager has changed from Tsuchi-san(?) to K.

Today, I had an interview/photoshoot with the magazine "with".


**Okay, I really don't understand this next bit. It seems like he'll be working with "with" for another two years, or has already worked with them for two years, or something along that line. UGH.**

Decided to (finally!) update today, but I can't seem to find anything interesting. Though I suspect it's probably because my skills in searching for news aren't as sharp as they used to be. Anyway, here are a bunch of photos with mystery people inside. If you can, identify them!

(supposedly) Shirota Yuu, Yamapi and Mizobata Junpei. I can only identify Shirota (the tall one, duh), so I'm not so sure about the other two.

Toda Erika and Kase Ryo for "Keizoku" sequel

Toda Erika (21) and Kase Ryo (35) will co-star in a TBS drama series this fall. The show, titled "SPEC," is described as a sequel to the 1999 series "Keizoku," which starred Nakatani Miki (34) and Watabe Atsuro (42).
The full title of the new series is "Keizoku 2: SPEC ~ Keishichou Kouanbu Kouan Daigoka Mishou Jiken Tokubetsu Taisakugakari Jikenbo." Like the original series, "SPEC" will revolve around a pair of police detectives as part of a special division solving difficult cases. Toda plays the part of Touma, a woman with an IQ of 201 with a touch of sadism and an inability to "read the atmosphere" ("kuuki ga yomenai") in social situations. Her character uses little makeup, has poor posture, and is always pulling around a small suitcase with wheels. Due to a previous case, her left arm is in a sling.
Meanwhile, Kase had to shave his head for his role as Touma's partner, a fellow detective who considers her unreliable. This will be his first time in a lead role on a television series.
Other cast members include 70-year-old veteran Ryu Raita (who also appeared in "Keizoku"), Saki Fukuda Saki (19), Shirota Yuu (24), and Kamiki Ryunosuke (17). The show will be directed by Tsutsumi Yukihiko, who also handled the original series.
TBS will air "SPEC" on Friday nights at 10:00pm, starting in October. (Tokyograph)

Shirota Yuu to act in musical "Elisabeth"

Shirota Yuu (24) is slated to act in "Elisabeth", a popular musical that has been staged 796 times since it's debut in Japan in 2000. He will act as Death, a dashing young man with whom the musical's heroine, Empress Elisabeth, shares a love-hate relationship with all her life. He is the youngest actor to be picked for this role so far.

In 2003, when Yuu was still in Horikoshi High School, he auditioned for the same role but was not chosen. However, the producers of the musical took notice of him because of his tall stature (188cm) and chiseled features. Now, seven years later, he has finally gotten the role.

The musical will play from 30 October to 9 August at the Imperial Theatre in Tokyo. (Sanspo)

I've finished watching Hana Kimi! Well, almost!

Unbelievably, I've managed to complete watching all 12episodes of Hana Kimi in less than 3days, when I was supposed to be working hard for my exams that are taking place in 2days time. -.- Can't wait to watch the special episode! Honestly, I felt that the ending was rather flat, sad to say. The goodbyes took forever(!) and the last part where Mizuki and Sano at the airport was sweet, but the kiss could have been so much more passionate and glorified! Oh well, at least they did kiss, though I think I prefer the kiss when Sano was drunk from eating the Nara pickles in episode2. Hee hee, did he look cute there!

The show really lives up to its name Ikeman Paradise! Though there are some ugly guys, here are those that are so cute! These are not in any order:
1. Sano!~~
2. Nakatsu, the hot-blooded soccer player! I really love it when he's thinking and doing all those hand gestures. But I don't know why most people prefer him to Sano...
3. Sekime! He's nice/ cute!
4. Nanba Minami! Mizushima Hiro! Not enough of him in this show... :(
5. The ghost boy, Kayashima! I think he's really sweet and lovely!
6. Umeda, the doctor! He's supposed to be gay, but he's so hot! Can't believe that the actor's 45years old...
7. Yuujiro, the lovely golden retriever! HAHAHA DOES THIS EVEN COUNT?!?!
8. Kagurazaka Makoto OMG Yu is such hot shit I'm sorry I'm usually not this vulgar but HE IS HOT SHIT.

Mmmm I think that's all... I sure hope the special shows Mizuki and Sano developing further! 8)
